NO POSITIVES

The new Melbourne Victory manager Ange Postecoglou has said that he cannot take any positives from the 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Melbourne Heart. However, the team was coming into the match on the back of a poor run of form, which has seen them get beaten by the Greek club Olympiacos in a friendly match. Ange Postecoglou said that his players will be learning from the 4-1 defeat suffered in the friendly match, but they showed no signs of such disappointment in the match against Melbourne Heart as well.

Melbourne Victory are clearly going for the championship title this season. They recruited the former Brisbane Roars manager, who had won the title in back-to-back championships, especially for this reason.
